There’s more to running a company than a solid bottom line — true corporate citizens engage in the community and give back. On December 3, the Business Journal’s Partners in Philanthropy awards will honor those companies who make it a priority to make a difference in the region.
To nominate your company for an award, work with your office manager or human resources director to tally up your contributions from August 1, 2009 through July 31, 2010 in the following categories:
1. Cash contributions
2. Percent of budget donated
3. Employee volunteer hours
4. In-kind donations
5. Number of nonprofit(s) supported
6. How the nonprofit(s) were chosen
7. How your company’s efforts helped
